Which program should I use?
For development of new antibodies, go to our Monoclonal Discovery or Polyclonal Antibodies under Solutions by Service Type. If you have an existing hybridoma and need an antibody produced from it, please visit Monoclonal Antibody Manufacturing under the same section. And you can always get in touch with for advice on which program or strategy would be most appropriate for your research needs and applications.
How much antigen will I need and of what purity?
For peptide antigens, we can create peptide immunogens of sufficient quantity and purity. As for purity, the highest reasonably possible is recommended and should be at least 85 percent. Where high purity is difficult to accomplish, a compromise strategy is to immunize with antigen of lower purity and then screen with antigen of higher purity. We adhere to a comprehensive and integrated Quality Assurance Management Program that’s been developed and tested over the past two decades. We promise that any procedure that fails our internal controls or performance specifications will be repeated at no additional charge to you. In short, you don’t pay for mistakes that we make (which are few and far between). All projects we undertake are results-driven, and we operate on a fee-for-service, pay-as-you-go model. That means we invoice when each service item—all identified in a specific work order you approve in advance—is completed. At Antibody Solution, you have no liability—meaning, you don’t pay—for services that you haven’t expressly authorized.
Do I own and get access to the custom service product?
Our pay-as-you-go, fee-for-service model means you only pay for the work we do—royalty-free, with no IP blocking or downstream surprises. With us, you retain full ownership and access to the materials we generate for you.
How long will I have to wait for a project to start?
Because we’re not wedded to a single research approach, we can deploy along multiple discovery paths simultaneously. Typically, we can start a project within one or two weeks after you give us the go-ahead. And our proprietary order management system that tracks project needs (i.e., research personnel and materials) across all departments and clients means we can allocate resources on a day-to-day basis as well as for months in advance. That helps us ensure that each and every project you entrust to Antibody Solutions will stay on course, on time and on budget.
