Antibody Gene Sequencing
Obtaining the sequence of your monoclonal antibody is useful for identifying the same, similar or unique antibodies. It is typically the first step toward antibody engineering and patenting of an antibody. We offer sample preparation and sequencing of mouse, rat and human immunoglobulin V domains, V plus leader, as well as complete Heavy- and Light-chain sequencing. Sequencing is available for single samples or samples in 96-well plates. Hybridomas are typically sequenced using Sanger sequencing methods, and deep sequencing of B-cells and Hybridoma Libraries™ by next-generation sequencing also is available for selected applications. The time to obtain gene sequences ranges from two to four weeks depending upon the number of samples and type of sequencing.
